At the Karat School Project, we believe every child should receive an education regardless of their origin or circumstances.
The Karat School campus in CIV is a thriving space of joy and learning that promotes academic excellence, practical skills, and overall well-being. Our holistic, hands-on, inquiry-based learning approach integrates modern technology and local culture. The curriculum is child-centered, loving, and attuned to the local environment.
Enrollment is free, and each student enjoys two warm meals daily. The center is also a community hub where we welcome students and their families and host events and gatherings.
We run all of our programs to empower girls and women from the campus and your support, no matter how small, is how we make an impact.

Stock Donations
Donating securities is the most tax efficient way to give. You can avoid capital gains tax in addition to benefiting from the charitable tax deduction.
Donor Advised Fund
A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a type of giving fund administered by a third party such as a community foundation or financial institution. DAFs allow you to make a charitable contribution of cash, securities, or other assets to the fund, receive an immediate tax deduction, and then recommend grants from your DAF account over time to the nonprofits you wish to support.
